Toronto Cricket Club

PROJECT

Social + Website

Helping the Cricket Up Their Game.

Description

The Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club, in North Toronto was facing the same challenge that many private clubs are experiencing: how to attract new members. As the membership ages, attracting new members is critical for the continuity of the club. The ask? How to attract a younger demographic while staying true to the culture and values that are at the heart of the club.

A number of branding pieces were used to begin romancing new members: a redesigned website, a social media campaign, and print ads. Overdrive worked on defining how to reposition the club visually, utilizing colour, type and image treatment to evoke an environment that was welcoming and family-oriented, yet exceptional. We emphasized the high quality of the athletic programs – with their opportunity for developing skills while making lifelong relationships.

Deliverables

Working with the existing brand equity, we refreshed the design of The Cricket’s website. We continue to work with them in an ongoing social media campaign geared to bringing in new members. Additionally, we worked with The Cricket on the content and install of an interactive display kiosk, where members could participate in shaping the clubs ongoing Master Plan.
