Entrance Design for Ai Art Exhibit
Deliverables
- Wayfinding
- Signage
Poetic Ai is an AI-driven data painting exhibition born from extensive research into new collaborations between artists, scientists, and machines, designed by Turkish studio, Ouch. The exhibition comprises six interconnected collections that delve into subjects such as physics, the universe, neuroscience, and ancient human civilizations. Visitors witness how valuable data is transformed into art with the assistance of artificial intelligence, creating multiple virtual worlds where our physical reality is just one facet of a broader universe.

Elevations
Art was created for all surfaces inside the tunnel and mapped precisely to architectural drawings provided by the Tate Group.

Entrance
The halftone figures were initially vectorized from a photograph. The resulting dot matrix was then gridded and every dot meticulously sized and placed on that grid.

End Wall
This wall sits at the end of a 50 foot tunnel. The tunnel then switches back onto itself for another 26 feet before emptying out into the exhibit space. The original design specified printed graphics on floor to ceiling mirrors. Cameras would then map images onto the faces of the people in line as they approached the wall and rounded the corner. Budgets necessitated otherwise.

Exit from corridor into exhibit
This signage exists at the entrance into the exhibit space and lists the titles of each of the presentation segments.
